The Driving School is a university subdivision created at the request of the Ministry of Health based on MH College Decision No. 4/6 of July 10, 2009. Its basic purpose is to train students and residents of the University to obtain a driver's license with a view to facilitating the work of the future doctor.
The activity of the Driving School is strictly regulated by:
- Law No.131 of 07.06.2007 regarding road traffic safety;
- The curriculum for drivers of vehicles approved by Order of the Ministry of Education No. 1022 of 28.10.2013;
- Order of the Ministry of Transport and Road Management No. 172 of 09.12.2005 regarding the approval of the Norms of fuel and lubricants consumption in motor transport area;
- The regulation regarding the operation of the professional training units for motor vehicle drivers in force approved by the College of the Ministry of Education, Decision No. 4 of 30.09.2013;
- Regulation regarding the organization and operation of the Driving School of Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova;
The Driving School is an institution with traditions and experience in the field of driver training. We invite you to undergo the training process together and to obtain the category B driving license. Our institution has a classroom, a mechanics laboratory, and three transport units equipped with a clutch and brake dual control system. Practical training in driving cars identical to those used by CRIS Registru for the practical test to obtain the driver's license.
The aim of our school is to offer high quality services, so that students are well prepared, both theoretically and practically, to be able to obtain their driver's license and to avoid stress while driving in an increasing traffic congestion.
Driving instructors and teachers carry out their activity according to a broad and balanced school program, designed to ensure the right and full understanding in the assimilation of the necessary knowledge and skills.
The course curriculum is developed based on Decision of the Government of the Republic of Moldova No. 545 of June 25, 2010 and adopted pursuant to art. 5 of Law No. 131-XVI of June 7, 2007 on road traffic safety, and the recommendations of Directive No. 126 of December 20, 2006 of the European Parliament and the Council of Europe. The current requirements of the educational system are based on teaching-learning-evaluation values in order to train and develop a system of professional skills that ensure the development of the personality of car drivers for efficient and responsible involvement in road traffic.
In this context, the objectives of this course are:
- To create a system of theoretical knowledge regarding the obligations of car drivers, organize and manage the road traffic, the traffic rules and the first medical aid;
- To apply into practice the gained theoretical knowledge in real road traffic conditions;
- To demonstrate appropriate behavior models for significant driving situations in road traffic.
